Inspired by Jane Goodall, I recommend supporting the following trustworthy organizations that help wild animals:
Sheldrick Wildlife Trust – for $50 a year, you can adopt a rescued baby elephant and other types of babies as well. They care for them until the animal decides he/she is ready to roam free in the wild. This organization also has anti-poaching and rescue teams and vets available to treat injured or trapped animals in the wild.
World Wildlife Fund (WWF) is an international organization that collaborates with local communities to promote conservation and biodiversity around the world. They also focus on preventing the loss of the wildlife’s natural habitat.
The Wild Animal Sanctuary (in Colorado’s Keenesburg and two other locations) rescues captive-born exotic animals from unhealthy or abusive sites, nurses them back to health, and gives them a forever home on their 40,000 acres of land. They also have a sanctuary for saving Colorado Mustangs.
